I think I prefer the title as it acts as an impact page.

Good range

Didnt get many comments, maybe this is a good thing. Still need to work on the type and layout.

MONOPOLY the otley run

I thought I could make a game out of the pubs I have drawn. These could be bought in shops and even over the bars and pubs

I didn't have enough pubs to fill the board so at the beginning I added drinks

Instead of water works and electricity I added Subway and KFC which are both passed on the Otley Run

The Otley run books

I made two booklets in the end. One for students, saying the price's and facilities and one that would be found in a tourist information centre which gives a review of each pub.

Another booklet

This booklet has the prices of the beers, and wines and other information that will be useful for students.
such as if it has a pool table, cocktails, live music.

Spent quite a lot of time finding out allllll this information about the pub. Then realised how boring it is, and how I would never want to pick it up and read it so which other student will!!!

Lorenzo said I should make it really fun and could be a game, or challenges for each pub.
could be a four man game where you loose point...or gain points for doing silly things, falling over, burping, downing a pint etc.

Students wouldnt want to know the history and how nice or bad the pub is. They want to know which has a pool table, cheep drinks etc.


I can image older people buying this version of the Otley Run not that they do it, but it is a guide to which pub they should go to. Torrist information at the train station would be a good place to sell it.

Website for otley run

I have made an idea for a website for the otley run.Giving information and directions that would be able to be printed.

There would be a page for each different pub, saying how far along you are, weather the drinks are cheep, if food is available and the quality of the pub and its insides.

Promoting the otley run

This could be a poster that could be put up drawing freshers week to get people to go to the pubs.

Check list of pubs

I thought it would be fun for people to have a check list of the pubs that they managed to go to and created this...

This would be A5 so that you can easily carry it around with you.

Bus stop Advertising

To get people to do the Otley Run or remind them about it I have created a bus stop advertisement that would be place around Leeds and Headingley.

T-Shirt in a tin

This is how the T-shirts could be packaged and bought at the pubs.

New poster

I'm really please with this poster, it is similar to my other one but with a road on and the buildings placed better.

T-shirts

These looks rubbish!!! Im not the best at illustrator. I think I am going to print one real t-shirt as it would be too expensive to do more. But this way I can use a real product in my design boards, which cant look as bad as this.

The pub you're at

Beer mats are double sided so on one side it could say which pub is next on the list for the Otley run and the other side tell you which pub you are in, just incase you're too drunk to remember.

I chose a font called Handwriting - Dakota as it looks as though it is hand drawn and I think fits with the images.

The next pub

I am sure that many people who do the Otley Run will have no idea which the next pub it is that they are meant to go to. Especially when they are fresher. I have created beer matts that will tell you which is the next pub that you are meant to go to with the image of what it looks like.

Otley run products

After my crit I have decided I am going to make concepts of how my illusrations can be on a range of products.

I am planning on making mock ups of:

• beer cans
• t-shirts
• book
• bus stop for advertising
• beer mats

Hopefully as I am making these more Ideas will come in to my head.

the Otley Run

Now that I have finally finished all the pubs I can start printing off Posters and concertina books. I am going to make a concept of a game and every person can have a top with a different pub on. Will be advertised on bus stops and busses as well as the posters that can be place around Leeds and Headingley. 

I want to make lots of variations of posters and maybe some information about the pubs.
