In image this week we were given 4 article all with a missing picture, our task was to read threw the article and design 4 illustrations.

Yesterday we had a crit where we had to bring 3 design boards with us. i found this session useful we first went through some of the things we would like to get out of the crit

1. is the work achievable?-time
2. is the work possible?- skills
3. further research-content, visual, technical
4. tone of voice? audience/context, subject matter, concept
5. the reality of content
6. appropriate concept
7. consider the whole problem

from my feedback I was told that my title wasn't right and maybe should have something to do with "imaginary" as the planets i am doing are not real

They also said i was creating 2 sorts of illustration and that i should stick to had drawn.

they also said that they were not too sure on the photo, but if i use them correctly they might work.

only hear the audio on ram preview

add to render queue>lossless>tick audio button

Things I will put into my title sequence:

my title sequence will also need words and sentences in it. I am going to create Planet names that can flash up and make facts about them.

PLANETS

For my top ten i have decide to choose PLANET!

I can create my own planets which may or may not exist

I would like to make my title sequence really imaginative and create crazy, unrealistic places.

I will also create unusual plants and animals. This however will all be illustrated, maybe a few photos will be involved.

The other day i was cutting up spring onions and with the end which are white with little root sprouting out of them i made them look like creatures with funny hair. This gave me the idea of using photography for some parts of my title sequence. I think I will use other things and make them look as though it is from another planet, such as a sponge with eyes or other sort of foods with faces on them.
