place matts

The designs that I have used for wrap it up is how i like to draw and i like the design. However i think it doesnt really show good manners or give off the right vibe that i am trying to produce. I want people to think that manners are awesome a colourful and something that people want to learn. My design of the boy asking what the word please means will attract the wrong sort of people. I have decided that children are the target audience that i need to attract, along with parents this is why i can not use the ugly looking boy as part of my design.
I came up with the idea of writing down helpful tips on to children's place mats. This is a way that will keep reminding them of simple tables manners at the most appropriate time, when they eat.
Here is the 1st design that I have come up with for place mats, you can see where your plate, knife and fork would go. Then scattered around the place mat is little reminders of simple tables manners and what else you should be doing around the table.

Above is my second design for a place matt. the big white circle is where the child's plate would go, and around it are little reminders and points to help them be polite and learn manners
